If you're the summer stroller type, who enjoys the calm of the country and appreciates a wonderful landscape, Hatfield House will not disappoint.

Inside the grand walls of Hatfield House perimeters included is the estate, woodland, gardens, church's, boutique shops and a fantastic restaurant - it could easily be appreciated as the size of a small village.

It offers a fine sense of tranquility, a quality difficult to find in our busy modern day world. The options are endless, you can take a trip around the house itself, church, gardens, stables or even their farm, you won't find yourself without an area you are yet to discover.

On sunny day, the above images present the type of views to expect, you'll find that if you're a family there are many events going on each month which can make it a fun-fulled family day out, the farm is especially great if you have kids.

The large house itself dates back to 1611 and the inside is beautifully decadent, each room filled with its own themes and styles. When guiding yourself through the house you will come across their extensive art collection covering their walls, most famously a painting of Queen Elizabeth I, renowned as the 'Rainbow' painting for being the most colorful Tudor painting in it's time.

The gardens are quite a vision, from the perfectly trimmed bushes, to the sensational array of flowers, plants and trees dotted around the land. The fields which were unfortunately out of reach are usually filled with deer and many other wildlife.

You can hear the birds singing as you stroll through the woodland as the squirrels scurry by your feet.

The fountains were adoringly placed in each sector of the gardens, offering an extra touch of elegance and charm.

Hatfield House is a vibrant and classic estate which is most definitely not to be missed if visiting Hertfordshire.

Hatfield House is located in the village of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, you can book tickets through their website or on site.
